What does it take to spur the mind into action translate the thoughts the feelings the visions into words How many feelings lost, thoughts forgotten, visions faded for lack of words or a phrase written or spewed. The orgasmic failure to perform. Not reaching climax Just short of satisfaction Only letters formed but still a blank page. DSS

I find comparing or connecting (???) writing to making love so right on!
Sometimes when I write (poem or story) the words flow quickly and end in a satisfying *bang* climax! Other times, things move slowly and sometimes even peter (no pun intended! 😉 ) out.
I admire anyone who writes, because sometimes it is VERY difficult to put feelings, thoughts, visions, and dreams, etc., into words that other people can relate to and find meaning it. But, it’s always worth trying! 🙂 Your words are wise, they matter, and they are meaningful to those who read.
Great poem, J.! Never give up on your writing! Keep writing! 🙂
HUGS and Happy Whee-kend!!! 🙂

That is so true. Sometimes there just isn’t words and it ends up being only mental masturbation. But I would never give up either of them .
